Tucked off Glenwood Avenue in Downtown Raleigh is a quaint white and black house that embodies the essence of childhood wonder and grown-up elegance. The Bunny Hive is not just a play space; it's an elevated social club for little ones and their grown-ups, where every moment is an opportunity for connection and joy. It's a place where imagination soars and friendships bloom, inspiring both young and old alike. This enchanting space served as the perfect muse for the concept nursery in the SPEC House.

Design
For this nursery design we put an emphasis on warmth and beauty. To honor The Bunny Hive’s community-oriented values we incorporated organic and natural textures like wood, wicker, and cotton to add warmth and a touch of the outdoors. When furnishing a child’s space always consider pieces that are both functional and stylish, such as a cozy rocking chair for late-night feedings, a sturdy crib with a classic design, and storage solutions that keep the space tidy and clutter-free.
Have fun! Add whimsical and playful elements, such as bunny-themed wall art, soft plush toys, and floral arrangements. Include personal touches like framed photos or your family’s favorite storybooks to create a personalized space. Opt for soft, ambient lighting to create a warm and inviting atmosphere and consider a statement chandelier or a series of pendant lights to add a touch of elegance to the room.
