ABOUT NOBLE
Noble Studio is a Raleigh based design firm dedicated to creating alluring and deeply personal spaces inspired by the people who use them.
Compelled by our obsession with creating a sense of place and mood rather than just making a pretty room, we are endlessly pursuing the alchemical magic that comes from turning thousands of technical decisions into something profound. We never tire of the thrill of seeing the raw building blocks of design (composition, scale, light, color, flow, volume, texture, pattern) become genuine, moving spaces that our clients cherish.
Our firm is especially concerned with creating spaces that will translate in a relevant way across time, starting with a palette of pieces and materials that are soulful. We look to historical influences as well as present inspiration and take our cues from the context of our clients lives and loves. We are drawn to creating moments of interesting tension and juxtaposition, believing that the most enduring and current-feeling spaces are intelligent curations of old and new, gloss and grit, side by side.
Founded originally in 2018 as Kate Haynes Interiors and reborn in 2023 as Noble Studio, Kate has been honing a fascination with spaces, architecture and art since childhood. Though her degree gave her a foundational education in design, it was hands on experience in the industry that sparked her love of process. Her company has always been about beautiful spaces (naturally), but the rebirth as Noble Studio comes with a sense of matured intentionality to create quiet luxury for our clients.
We resonate with clients who want a guide who can take them where they cannot go alone, with the result being a fearless, soulfully elevated space- full of good tension, rooted deeply in authenticity, and hopefully transcending time just a bit. Kate brings to her team a relentless commitment to the intangible result of joy present in the aesthetics and flow of a place, no matter what style it wears.
Team Noble
Kate Haynes
Founder + Creative Director, Allied ASID
Mom of four, ridiculously committed to overthinking most everything. Only occasionally fancy. Besides interior design, which has fully occupied her heart from an alarmingly young age, she is also addicted to podcasts, running, iced coffee, reading too many books at one time, and stubbornly chasing down the truth and beauty in everyday life.
Debbie Kitts
Project Coordinator
Debbie wears a superhero cape and carries a box cutter, and is way more polite than we deserve. Keeps us in check, wrangles lead times and fixes our mistakes before anyone catches on. Basically a badass with a sharpie, a spreadsheet, and a smile. On a first name basis with Robert Currey (IYKYK). Probably listening to a design podcast right now, because she loves this industry so darn much.
Kyley Herring
Junior Designer
Kyley came to us with a design education and experience working in a design firm with a construction emphasis. She keeps us organized and can make a really beautiful spreadsheet and then turn around and delight us with the most original inspiration images in our after-hours group texts. Our clients love her, and we couldn’t survive without her.
