Design is meant to be personal, not a regurgitation of a trend you’ve seen on instagram or your neighbor’s idea of a beautiful home. We spend time getting to know and understand you, what you need and want from your space, and even what parts of your story can be beautifully woven into your environment. We want to be sure that every choice we make is reflective of your life.

In collaboration with the project’s key team members (architects, contractors, and engineers), we craft a design directive to help shape the direction of your proposed spaces. We create a presentation and conceptual renderings to express the mood and general initial concepts. This ensures that we are headed in the right direction for you and serves as a basis for constructive conversation. Ultimately (with your feedback) this concept becomes our wireframe for the design moving forward.

Armed with a general sense of direction, our team begins construction drawings and schedules, sourcing exactly the right furnishings and finishes to execute on the north star of our design concept established in the earlier phase of design. We will present samples and a visual presentation that will allow you to experience the tactile qualities of the materials we are proposing. When needed, we will schedule showroom visits during this phase to allow you the opportunity to experience items first hand. Once final selections are made, every single piece is documented and plans are made for procurement.

We absolutely love to be on site throughout the process of bringing spaces to life. Our clients love having an advocate for the integrity of the design as inevitable game-time decisions arise. We work alongside our contractors to maintain the original design intent through from concept to completion, collaborating with them in problem solving and detail management. Our goal is to do our part to make each project a dream team experience for everyone involved, most importantly our clients.

Meanwhile, our procurement process is underway as items are ordered, tracked, received, inspected and warehoused. A coordinated delivery date is orchestrated based on the timing of your items arrivals.

The finish line of a project is many months (or years) in the making, with hopes riding high. We will have spent hours collecting accessories and finishing touches, procuring the art, textiles, and objects that will make the space complete and move-in ready. When the day comes, our team will be ready to mobilize to bring it all together, with the coordinated delivery of furnishings and an all-hands-on-deck approach to placing every last thoughtful piece just so.
