Grab your iced latte and enjoy the details of Noble Studio’s latest home office design for The SPEC House — a conceptual digital home designed and inspired by the local businesses that we know and love here in Raleigh. This study was inspired by the harmonious blend of flavor and melody found at Quarter Note Coffee.
Originally a specialty espresso cart, Quarter Note has now established a brick-and-mortar near Crabtree Mall, offering handcrafted syrups and chai to its patrons. Drawing from this unique blend of artisanal craftsmanship and inviting ambiance, Noble Studio set out to create an office study that embodies the essence of this beloved coffee shop.

Design
In keeping with Quarter Note's aesthetic, the design features a clean contrast of black and white, evoking a modern and minimalist feel. This simplicity is further enhanced by the use of bright, airy spaces filled with hope and creativity. A touch of greenery adds a pop of color, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
At the heart of the design is the bold desk, inspired by the gently curved shape of woolly mammoth tusks. This distinctive silhouette is complemented by a South American hide rug featuring a distressed, deep black zebra print. Stenciled and painted on top, this natural hide rug makes a bold, vintage-inspired statement, adding character and warmth to the space.
Design Board
To bring a sense of drama and sculptural elegance, Noble Studio incorporated the Iommi table lamp. With its oversized scale and striking design, this lamp adds a touch of sophistication to the study, creating a focal point that draws the eye and adds depth to the room.
