The primary closet is an essential area in every home, serving as a personal retreat and a reflection of one's style and individuality. Take a look at how Noble Studio designed a conceptual digital closet inspired by Beatniks, a local men's clothing store.

Beatniks, a men's clothing shop located in Raleigh's new Iron Works, is not just a place to shop; it's a destination that embodies the spirit of the Beatniks — a movement of the 1950s and early 1960s that embodies a spirit of artistic self-expression and rebellion against societal norms.

The space combines street, surf, skate, and outdoor brands and styles, offering quality everyday clothes and accessories with an edge. The environment created at Beatniks is as important as the merchandise, with friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere that shape the brand's identity.

want your brand to evoke?

I want them to see Beatniks as casual with a bold and alternative flair. There is also a small sense of nostalgia consumers may feel because of the retro details that have been weaved into the space.

What colors best represent your

brand?

Olive Green, Rust, Orange, Sand, Sky Blue, and Cocoa.

Design

The closet's design is a vibrant blend of vintage and modern styles, creating an eclectic space. Bold grid patterns and rich textures coexist with sleek, contemporary finishes, inviting the owner to mix and match pieces in unexpected ways. Open shelving and display racks showcase curated collections of clothing and accessories, turning the closet into a personal gallery of style.

Design Guide

Noble Studio's design for the primary closet embraces vintage-inspired elements. The closet features iconic pieces such as a Sputnik chandelier, adding a retro-futuristic touch, and an Emma lounge chair, offering a comfortable spot for contemplation. These vintage-inspired designs blend seamlessly with modern elements.

Storage solutions are both functional and stylish, with custom-built closets and drawers that maximize space. Hidden compartments and pull-out racks offer discreet storage options, keeping the closet organized yet effortlessly cool. A seating area with a vintage-inspired vanity mirror invites the owner to experiment with different looks.

Whether you're in Raleigh or perusing online, immerse yourself in the unparalleled shopping atmosphere at Beatniks.

Layout

We are drawn to creating moments of interesting tension and juxtaposition, believing that the most enduring and current-feeling spaces are intelligent curations of old and new, gloss and grit, side by side.
